By using barbenvakil.com (the "site"), operated by the studio of Bar Ben Vakil at Netter Karl 9, Tel Aviv, Israel, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

All artworks, images, text, design, and content on the site are © Bar Ben Vakil. Nothing may be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission. Purchasing a work does not transfer copyright; you receive ownership of the physical piece only.

All prices are listed in US dollars. Prices shown in other currencies are converted for convenience using a live exchange rate; your card is charged in USD by our payment processor. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of pricing error, suspected fraud, or unavailability, with a full refund issued to the original payment method.

Works offered on the site fall into the following categories:

• Print — an archival reproduction of an original artwork.
• Customized — a print hand-finished or personalized by the artist.
• Premium — a hand-embellished edition of an original artwork.
• Original — an existing one-of-a-kind painting, sold on enquiry.

Print, Customized and Premium pieces are made to order and production begins when your order is confirmed and payment is received. Please allow 1–4 weeks for production before shipment. Because these works are created individually, natural variations in hand-finished details are part of their character and are not defects.

We ship worldwide from Tel Aviv, Israel. Delivery times depend on destination and carrier. Shipping costs and any applicable import duties, taxes or customs fees in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Most of our works are made to order and personalized, and under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981, goods made to a buyer's specifications are exempt from the standard 14-day distance-sale cancellation right. Our cancellation policy is therefore as follows:

• Before production begins: you may cancel a made-to-order piece (Print, Customized, Premium) for a full refund. Production may begin at any time after order confirmation; email us as soon as possible at studio@barbenvakil.com.
• After production has begun: made-to-order pieces cannot be cancelled, as the materials and studio time are committed to your piece.
• Original works: the sale of an existing original painting may be cancelled within 14 days of receipt, provided the work is returned in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer, and the refund is issued after the work is inspected by the studio.
• Statutory rights: nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable right you may have under applicable law, including under Israeli consumer law for buyers who are entitled to special protections (such as persons with disabilities, senior citizens and new immigrants, where the transaction included a conversation in their language).

Made-to-order works are not returnable for change of mind. If your piece arrives damaged, incorrect, or not as described, notify us within 7 days of delivery at studio@barbenvakil.com with your order number and clear photographs of the work and packaging. We will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund, at our discretion, including reasonable return shipping for verified claims. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of approval of the claim.

You agree not to misuse the site — no scraping, reverse engineering, attempting to breach security, or uploading unlawful content.

The site is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, including the Consumer Protection Law, 1981 and its regulations on distance sales. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo.
